Awkwafina
Awkwafina began as an American musician and rapper releasing sly tracks that tackled issues such as racial and sexuality with a humorous twist. Prior to her move to Hollywood the singer had the opportunity to make a few songs. Nora Lum began her musical path as a trumpeter. Her birthplace was Forest Hills Queens, she was the child of Chinese immigrants as well as Korean immigrants. Jazz, classical and hip-hop training began as she was in her teens. In college, she focused on her studies, and then studied women's studies and journalism. While she was for a brief amount of time in Beijing, Mandarin language classes were also offered. Following graduation, she decided to pursue music as her main focus. The song My Vag which was her reaction to Mickey Avalon's My Dick, became a popular viral sensation via the Internet and later appeared on her first LP Yellow Ranger. The album also contained also were viral songs like Queef (body-positive) and NYC Bitchethe cost of $. The track that was the last one to be linked directly to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide, which was published in 2015. Apart from having published a book, her other career was as a singer. In addition to early television programs like Girl Code and Tawk, she's also appeared in movies like Neighbors2Storks, and Bad Rap. In 2018, her breakthrough roles included Dude Ocean's 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. The EP debuted in June.
