Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria is an Romanian Actress. She was awarded the British Academy Television Award Best Actress for her role in the Channel 4 film Sex Traffic. She is fluent in French, German English, and Romanian. Her father is the theatre professor at one of the best Romanian acting schools. Won the Best Female Actor of the Year in 2000 Award in the young Actor Gala Mangalia. The award was given to her as a European Shooting Star by the European Film Promotion Board in 2008. She was a teacher for four months in the University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu in Iasi. bAnamaria Marina is an Romanian actor born in Iasi Romania on 1 April 1978. Anamaria Marinca, an actress who is of Romanian descent has made her screen debut in the Canadian-British television drama Sex Traffic. She won the British Academy Television Award Best actress for the role. Alongside her impressive performance in her debut film, she is remembered for role in the Romanian art film 4 Months 3 weeks and 2 Days which won her numerous awards, such as an award from the European Film Award for Best Actress London Film Critics. She starred in Cristian Mugiu's Romanian film "4 luni 3 saptamani e 2 days" (4 3 Weeks, 4 Months and 2 Days) that won her the Palme d'Or award at Cannes Film Festival 2007. It also received two additional awards: The Cinema Prize of French National Education System (FIPRESCI Prize) as well as the Cinema Prize. Youth Without Youth by Francis Ford Coppola was a different film that she was in. In 2008, she played Yasim Anwar on the BBC Five-episode mini-series The Last Enemy. Marinca was a part of Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven as well as the Romanian drama Boogie. In the feature film Fury (2014) in which she was Irma who was the German woman, who played Emma's aunt.
