Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira was born on May 26, 1978, in Campinas Sao Paulo, Brazil. She's appeared as a character in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) as well as A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira was appointed to the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime in March 2020. She manages the Assassination Witness and is an GI-TOC member on the Multilateral Engagement Team. The GI-TOC research focuses on assassinations in contexts that involve illegal economics. In addition to organized crime, her research is focused on human rights implications and international human rights law. Ana Paula holds an LL.M cum laude in International Law by the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. Fundacao Getulio Vargas has awarded her an LL.M. Cum laude in Public Law. Ana Paula holds a Bachelor degree magna cum laude in Legal as well as Social Sciences by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She was a trained lawyer and worked for 4 years with a public law litigation firm. Additionally, she has held assistant posts at non-governmental institutions located in Rio de Janeiro, and Geneva.
