
After gaining scientific maturity at Giacomo Ulivi in Parma and then attending the Istituto Europeo di Design fashion course in Milan for one year before she quit her studies. In 2008, Benedetta Mazza was noticed by the Miss Italia regional selector, who encouraged her to participate in the beauty contest. She was then voted Miss Liceo Parma Miss Cinema Emilia Romagna Miss Emilia and Miss Parma. After the contest she poses for Simpa's charity calendar to raise money for the Associazione Volontari dell'Ospedale dei Bambini as well as a minor role in Federico Moccia's film Amore 14. In 2012, she was on the pages of Intimita's section dedicated fashion. In an episode on I Cesaroni she played Chantal as the assistant of Rocco Sanfredi. Gulp Girl was her television show on Rai Gulp. She also hosted it from November 2012 until February 2016, and she was host of two special prime-time shows on Rai YoYo's Zecchino D'Oro's spring Zecchino D'Oro's March 19 Festa Del Papa as well as May 13's La Festa della Mamma.
